I wish I lived near your orchard, but since I don't I would really appreciate a recipe for cider doughnuts. Seems like Virginians have been missing out on a good thing. My husband and I both grew up in the Binghamton/Endicott area and we still have family in the area. We both still really miss the Cider Mill and all it offers. We manage to take the time to visit the Cider Mill whenever we come home to visit.

I grew up just 2 blocks from the Mill. I remember the fire! But, I'm glad you are still around. I'll be visiting in mid-September with my son, and there are only 2 required stops: The Cider Mill and the flood wall.

My family moved from Endwell to San Jose, California in 1972. I still have a napkin (unused) from the Cider Mill stuffed in a box. Very vivid memories or the apples coming down the conveyor belt and the smell of the apple cider, fresh donuts & candied apples. You had the best!
